The ingredients needed to make Chilli Potato:
  1. Prepare 3 potatoes or (3 medium aloo)
  2. Make ready 2 tbsp corn starch or corn flour
  3. Prepare 1/4 tsp red chilli powder

  6. Prepare 3/2 tbsp garlic chopped
  7. Get 1 onion sliced
  8. Make ready 3/4 cup capsicum

  11. Get 1 tbsp red chilli sauce
  12. Make ready 1/2 tsp vinegar
Instructions to make Chilli Potato:
  1. Mix red chilli sauce with red chilli powder using little water. Make a thick paste. Set aside
  2. Peel potatoes and cut diagonally. Immerse them in salted water for 30 minutes
  3. Add them to a bowl of water and boil until they are slightly cooked. Do not over cool they need to be firm. Drain them
  4. Sprinkle flour, red chilli powder and salt over the drained potatoes. Toss well
  5. Heat oil in a deep pan. Whtn hot enough drop one by one in hot oil.
  6. Deep fry on a medium flame until golden. Check if the potatoes are completely cooked from inside yet crisp
  7. Heat one tbsp oil on a high heat in a pan
  8. Fry garlin and chilli until they smell good.
  9. Add onions and saute until transparent.
  10. Next add capsicums and saute for a while
  11. Add the red chilli sauce, soya sauce and vinegar
  12. Pour little water and cook till it slightly thickens to make gravy chilli potato, dissolve 3/4 tbsp corn strach with 3/4 cup water. Stir and pour to the pan.
  13. When the sauce thickens add fried potatoes and saute for 2 to 3 minutes.
  14. Now it's ready to serve
