  2. Get 1 can Canned tuna
  3. Prepare 1 clove Garlic

Add all other ingredients to the carrot pulp in a bowl and mix well. Serve on lettuce, bread or toast. Loved the celery, carrot and seasonings. As a personal preference, I did add more mayo than indicated to reach our desired consistency.

Steps to make Carrot Tuna Salad:
  1. Cut the carrot into thin strips, and mince the garlic. ※ I used a slicer in the picture.
  2. Place １ on a plate and microwave it for 2.5 minutes.
  3. Add the canned tuna including the oil and mix them together.
  4. Chill it and it's done!

Also, I've made this with fresh parsley, as well as with dill and loved both versions. This is my new go-to tuna salad recipe! I have used shoestring potatoes but I prefer it with chow mein noodles. Sometimes I make it with no carrots but with frozen peas and hard boiled eggs. For me it isn't tuna salad without mayonnaise.
