- Finely chop the onion. Drain the tofu. This time I used frozen tofu.
- In a bowl, mix the meat, tofu, onion, and ◎ ingredients. Knead well!
- Shape into desired sizes.
- Spread vegetable oil in a pan and fry until cooked through and both sides are a little browned. Add all the * ingredients, mix in well and you're done!
Raw ground chicken is much softer than ground beef or pork, and it is a little hard to handle. -In a bowl mix tofu, chicken, onion, ginger, egg, pepper and cornstarch. Make patties/tsukune.-Pour some oil in a frypan. On medium high fire fry both sides of tsukune until they have reached a nice colour. Cover with lid and steam/cook on low fire.-Mix soy sauce, Japanese sake and sugar in a bowl.-Take off lid from tsukune. Healthy and easy to prepare, tsukune (chicken meatballs) is a traditional chicken dish served in yakitori establishments.
